Every summer at Westside Family Church, we do something a little different – something fun, creative, and deeply meaningful.
At the Movies is a message series where we explore popular films and uncover the Biblical truths woven into their stories. Just like Jesus used parables – simple, relatable stories – to teach deep spiritual truths, we take modern movies and show how they reflect the heart of God.
Why Movies? Because stories stick. Movies move us; they make us laugh, cry, think, and feel. And sometimes, they unexpectedly echo the very message of the Gospel.
“Jesus did not tell them anything without illustrating it with a story.” (Matthew 13:34)
We believe that God’s truth shows up everywhere, even in the most unexpected places. Grab your popcorn, invite a friend, and discover how the story of God is being told all around us.
