Measuring What Matters.

This summer we have an exciting opportunity for you to participate in. It’s our desire here at Westside Leavenworth to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus, and to embrace the “follow me” call he has for you that results in a flourishing life of discipleship. Each one of us has unique next steps that we can take to grow closer to Jesus, but sometimes we as a staff might not know where you all are individually at.

On the flipside, in church leadership, we make decisions through the power of the Holy Spirit and undergirded by prayer, but we want to take an opportunity to listen to you. To hear back from you how you’re feeling and how you think we’re doing.

So, we’ve partnered with some organizations to use an assessment to measure those very things; how you’re doing and how we’re doing. On June 23, we’ll send out a link via text message. You may also return to this page and click the assessment button at the top.

Like Nehemiah measuring the wall before rebuilding it, or Jesus saying you don’t build a tower before first counting the cost (Luke 14:28), measurement is a biblical principle that we embrace to help us be more effective pastors, leaders, and a church to serve you and the community.

So make sure to be here on June 23 as we measure what matters, together. Thank you for your partnership.

FAQs

Real insight.

Real care.

For you.

  • ChurchPulse is a short, anonymous survey tool that helps us understand how our church family is doing — spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. It’s a way for you to share how you’re really doing so we can care better, grow stronger, and stay aligned with our mission.

  • Because we believe ministry works best when it’s with people, not just for them. ChurchPulse helps us hear from you - what’s working, what’s heavy, and where God may be calling us to grow together.

  • We’ll send a quick link (via email or text) with a short survey - usually 10 minutes or less. Your responses go straight into a secure, anonymous system and help guide real decisions in ministry, care, and connection.

  • Yes. 100%. We don’t collect names or personal identifiers. We’re not tracking you, we’re listening to us as a church body.

  • You’ll be asked about things like:

    • Your current spiritual and emotional health

    • How connected you feel to others at church

    • What next steps or support you might need

    • Your perspective on how we’re living out our mission

  • Pastors and ministry leaders review the anonymous data in real-time. It helps us:

    • Spot needs before they become crises

    • Equip leaders to care for people more effectively

    • Stay accountable to our mission: to reach the lost, the last, and the least by Loving Jesus, Becoming Like Jesus, & Sharing Jesus.

  • Nope. Totally optional. But the more voices we hear, the better we can serve. Even one response can shape something important.

  • We’re not collecting data. We’re cultivating care.

This isn’t about numbers, it’s about knowing our people and walking in step with what God is doing at Westside.
