Seasons of the Soul

Panelists: Cassie Allen, Jackie Schowengerdt, Jen Schmidt, Trish Gleisberg

Just as their are seasons for the earth, there are seasons that our souls go through. There are seasons of "Fall," which are seasons of transition. We go through seasons of "Winter," which can be seasons of loss. We experience seasons of "Spring," where new beginnings can be seen. And we experience seasons of "Summer," which are seasons of abundance. The panel will talk about their individual seasons and how identifying the season can position you to let God's Spirit renew your soul.

Blessed Are Those Who Mourn

Speakers: Carol Markle, Jenni Keltner

In a world that says you’re #Blessed when life is easy, Jesus tells a deeper story. “Blessed are those who mourn” reveals that blessing is not the absence of pain, but the presence of God’s Kingdom in it. Jesus meets us in grief over loss and in sorrow over sin. He draws near to the brokenhearted, invites repentance, and brings restoration. Our comfort doesn’t come from circumstances improving, but from a Savior who heals, forgives, and renews us—even in the midst of mourning.

Thankful for the Fleas and the Bread

Speaker: Jenna Ross

Culture says #Blessed means comfort and ease, but Scripture tells a richer story. “Blessed Are the Bread and Fleas” invites us to discover God’s goodness even in unexpected or uncomfortable places. This Christ-centered breakout blends Scripture and science to help women flourish in body, mind, and spirit—no matter the circumstances. Through gentle, evidence-based practices and reflective writing, participants will explore whole-person wellness rooted in the Kingdom of God. The blessing isn’t perfect conditions, but resilient faith and lasting health shaped by God’s presence in every season.

How to Study Your Bible

Speaker: Deni Davis

Culture often treats blessing as information or inspiration, but Jesus invites us into transformation. This breakout equips women with simple, practical tools to study the Bible with confidence and clarity. #Blessed is living under the authority and promise of God’s Word. Participants will learn how to read Scripture in context, ask meaningful questions, and apply truth to real life. The blessing is not just knowing the Bible, but being shaped by God's Word because it is truth that transforms us.

Blessed to Be Creative—Craft

Leader: Camille Acred

In a world marked by pain and uncertainty, creativity becomes an act of faith. This hands-on breakout invites women to express what it means to be #Blessed—not because life is easy, but because God is present. Through crafting, we give form to hope, lament, and trust, allowing creativity to overflow from hearts anchored in the Kingdom of God. This space offers reflection, beauty, and rest, reminding us that even in suffering, we are blessed as God restores, comforts, and creates something meaningful within us.

Menarche to Menopause

Speaker: Alex Ticknor

Culture often calls women #Blessed when they can do it all, but Jesus invites us to receive care, not just give it. We will explore women’s health from menarche to menopause, addressing common physical concerns with honesty and hope. Women's bodies are gifts from God, worthy of attention and stewardship. True blessing is not exhaustion, but honoring the life God has entrusted to us—caring for ourselves as an act of faith and gratitude.

Blessing Your Neighbor

Speaker: Joe Klassen

Culture often sees mission as pressure, but Jesus calls it a blessing. This breakout reminds us that every believer is sent to live on mission—right where we live, work, study, and play. We are not sent alone. God has blessed us with His Spirit living within us, empowering us to follow Jesus’ example. Through the simple and practical B.L.E.S.S. framework, women will discover how to live #Blessed and become a blessing to others, joining God’s work in everyday moments with confidence and joy.

The Holy Spirit—Spiritual Blessing

Speaker: Kasey Robinson

Culture often defines blessing by what we receive, but Scripture reveals blessing as who lives within us. In Christ, we are blessed with every spiritual blessing and sealed by the Holy Spirit. You are invited to embrace God's Spirit—not with fear, but faith—as God’s transforming presence. The same Spirit who empowered Jesus now leads us, frees us from sin, and equips us with gifts to build the Body of Christ. As we learn to follow the Spirit’s leading, we discover the true blessing of becoming like Christ and receiving the inheritance of God's Spirit.

Blessed Are the Peacemakers

Speaker: Patty Cogswell

Jesus calls peacemakers (not peacekeepers) blessed.  Peacemaking requires honest intel of our internal and external being. Peacekeeping, however, is often guided by conflict avoidance. Jesus is calling us to away from comparison, division, and fear of conflict. Jesus is calling us towards truth, courage, and love towards ourselves and others. In this breakout, we'll wrestle with understanding Jesus' definition of peacemaking and explore some practice tools in moving ourselves closer to this.
