Rooted explores seven rhythms of discipleship modeled by the early church in Acts 2. These essential practices are meant to become a regular part of every Jesus follower’s life. Building on the foundational Rooted experience, the Rhythms series takes a deeper look at each practice, including repentance.
Jesus offers salvation to everyone who believes in Him and calls on His name. While His saving grace secures our relationship with God once and for all, following Jesus also involves an ongoing response of repentance. With the Holy Spirit’s help, we honestly examine our lives, humbly confess our sins, and turn from them as we surrender to God. Through the forgiveness Jesus freely offers, we experience genuine freedom.
